My dad and I tried to make some real Pho soup. Normally Pho is a Vietnamese recipe, but I got the recipe for it from a Thai chef I know. It is basically chicken stock (made from real bones), a few other sauces added, and meat and noodles. You slice all your ingredients really thin (with the meat already pre-cooked) and you put whatever you want into your bowl. The raw vegetables are cooked when you pour the boiling broth into the bowl over them.
It turned out really well, though not quite as good as when Nok makes it :)
